Here is a FREE tatting pattern for this beautiful Sian Marguerite star! The creator of this one, Ms. Jennifer Williams, created this in memory of her daughter, who unfortunately left this world much too early.
The pattern for this star is written out very well, both with diagrams/charts and via handwritten instructions also.
The pattern lists Size 20 thread, although you could use varying sizes of thread, which would result in a different size finished project.
Other than the thread, the other supplies/materials you will need include 2 gold stars, 2 smaller silver stars, 2 small gold seed beads, and for making the different sizes of picots, an opened up paper clip, a cocktail stick, and a coffee stirrer.
